He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of MVM Zrt. and, since 2022, has served as Administrative State Secretary at the Ministry of Energy. As of September 15, 2024, he holds the position of Deputy Minister of the Ministry. Since March 12, 2024, he has also been Government Commissioner responsible for the development of Hungarian–Slovak energy infrastructure. Before taking on his current responsibilities, he gained extensive corporate governance experience at leading companies shaping Hungary’s economy and energy market. In 2021, he simultaneously served as both Chairman of the Board and CEO of MVM Zrt., while also holding the position of Chairman of the Boards of MNV Zrt. and MVM Paksi Atomerőmű Zrt. In 2018, he was appointed State Secretary for Asset Management at the Prime Minister’s Office. Between 2018 and 2021, he served as both CEO and Chairman of the Board of Szerencsejáték Zrt. Following this, he played a key role in exercising ownership rights over state-owned enterprises, supporting the work of the organization led by the Minister responsible for National Assets. From 2014 to 2018, he served as Administrative State Secretary at the Ministry of National Development, where his responsibilities included oversight of energy policy. Between 2010 and 2014, he held the position of Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice.
