Dr. Attila Poesz is an economist specialized in quantitative economics. He earned his PhD in decision theory and operations research at Corvinus University of Budapest. He has over a decade of experience in the Hungarian and international natural gas markets, with a focus on pricing, portfolio optimization, and risk management. At MVM CEEenergy Zrt., in recent years he has contributed to the design, demonstration, and implementation of complex mathematical models and AI-based approaches. He is an assistant professor at Corvinus University, and his research focuses on pairwise comparison methods, decision support, and optimization. He is a member of the Economic Science Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and of the Artificial Intelligence Section of the John von Neumann Computer Society.
